I'm a pear shape and these pants are perfect. They fit in the waist but aren't tight in the thighs. They are great for yoga or just working out in general. I wasn't expecting them to be as soft as they are. The pockets are handy too. You can't beat it for the price. I'm picking up another pair for just hanging out in.
